05/29/05:  At the bottom of Ridgebury after being dropped by the front group, Riders present were Jim "Derosa," Fuji Steve, SlingShot. You should be reminded that it is the end of May, but Jim is riding with only a few hundred miles under his belt for the year, else SlingShot would not have been there to hear this.

SlingShot:   Been nice riding with you guys, see you in the parking lot.
Jim "Derosa": I'm just going to get to the top of this hill and wait for the working class.
Fuji: Wheeze, wheeze, wheeze.


We really didn't have to wait long. The "working class" was on our wheel by the top. Well, ok, Fuji was already waiting, but not for so long that one must make note of it.

And a little further down the road in a another group waiting for the working class.  It's Nuclear Dan, Mary Endico, and Jim Amels, as reported.
 

Mary: What's this. Three of us side by side across the road.
Jim: Yeah, it's a Poker paceline.
Dan: Wheeze, wheeze, wheeze.
